Dr. Michael Stoma

Dr Michael Stoma of the Portals surgery collected the award for 2011 European Citizen of the Year at the Europe Day celebrations in Palmanova. He accepted the award on behalf of the Mediterraneacharity, which he founded 15 years ago with his wife Victoria. The charity now helps people here on Mallorca and all over the world, including schools in Ethiopia, a hospital in Ghana and children with cancer in Cuba.
